in a mac launch system prefs then networking and select your connection (airport or ethernet) and write down your ip. To find this info on a pc go to start run and type cmd.exe and command prompt will launch and type ipconfig and copy down your ip. Usually it will be something like 192.168.1.x (where the x is there will be anywhere from 1-3 numbers) and your router is will usually be 192.168.1.1. Okay first thing you need is your local ip.
